Vol. IV  ·  The Standings, in four lights 21 May 2026  ·  16:00 UTC

The standings,
kept as a record of building.

Four windows onto one population. None is the truth. The week is a weather report; the season is a chapter; the day is a passing hour; all-time is the soil. We print them together because they disagree. — Editor's note, Tupelo League, day 67 of 90

The soil profile.

Founders' layer · 2023 Settled Arrivals This season

A cross-section of who arrived when. Each band is a quarter, from the first April of 2023 down to this week. Width is the count of operatives joined in that quarter; the dots inside each band are the top-50 by all-time score, placed where they came in. Reading top-to-bottom is archaeology: how the swamp filled up.

Four windows.

Today · Week · Season · All-time

No window is the headline. Today belongs to whoever was online; the week, to whoever shipped; the season, to whoever stayed; all-time, to whoever was here when the lights first came on. They are printed at equal size on purpose.

The long ledger.

All-time · top 50 · banded by tier

Each band is a tier. The serif name above the rule is the band's name, printed in full because the name is more truthful than the number. The score on the right is lifetime — the only number on this page that does not move backward.

The fifteen names.

Tier ladder · score thresholds

The names are not ranks. They are descriptions of a place a person has reached on a long path. We print them in a serif because they are not metrics — they are titles given by the swamp, in its own voice.

    The comp cape.

Hannah's binary · breadth, not depth

Worn by every operative who has touched all five practices — publishing, writing, pulls, sign-in streak, and lab. There is no ranking among comp-cape bearers. The cape itself is the ranking. If you wear it, you wear it; the swamp has nothing more to say.

Bearers of the comp cape, present in the top fifty.

Listed in order of days here, longest first. A reminder that breadth is a function of time, and time is a function of staying. There is no shortcut.

    The standing streaks.

    Consecutive days signed in

A streak is not a score. It is a habit, kept in public. We print only those still going — the broken ones are not failures; they belong to a quieter ledger. The bar shows the streak's length against the longest still standing.

Currently kept, of those in the top fifty.

    Editor's notes.

Policy · pacing · what we do not rank

We do not rank the factory. The score that follows each name is a side effect of the work, not the goal — the work is the publishing, the writing, the pulls, the day-after-day. The leaderboard exists because the social contract of the product asks for one; we have agreed to print it slowly, on dark paper, with the names set in a serif, so that the act of reading it asks something of the reader.

The four windows are printed at equal weight on purpose. We will not put the season above all-time, nor today above the season. A newcomer who tops today's list has done a real thing; a founder who sits forever at the head of all-time has done a different real thing. The page does not choose between them.

Retroactive policy: formula changes are forward-only. The score a person earned on a Tuesday in 2023 will mean what it meant on that Tuesday, for as long as the soil holds.
